Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Power BI Engineers to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using the Power BI platform, while collaborating closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable performance and seamless operation of BI solutions.
Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders



  • Write advanced DAX expressions including time-intelligence functions, measures



  • Define and maintain relationships, hierarchies, and calculation groups for consistent metric definitions



  • Develop and maintain Power Query (M language) transformations to clean, shape, and integrate data from multiple sources



  • Provide support to Power BI users on best practices, new features, and advanced functionalities



  • Work with data engineers and analysts to ensure the datasets are analytics ready



  • Ensure the reliability and performance of Power BI solutions by optimizing data connectivity and ETL processes



  • Troubleshoot issues in power BI reports and reporting Pipelines



  • Manage Power BI Service workspaces, deployment pipelines (Dev/Test/Prod), and dataset refresh schedules



  • Implement and manage data governance policies, user roles, permissions, and Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure data compliance and security.




Required Skills



  • Power BI Consultant with expertise in dashboard development, data modelling, DAX, and visualization best practices



  • Solid DAX skills(Measures , calculated Columns)



  • Experience of Power BI integration with BQ , Exasol and other data sources



  • Experience in migrating dashboards and reports to Power BI from other visualization platforms



  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation



  • Understanding of Data modelling, data security, governance, and compliance requirements



  • Hands-on experience with JIRA



  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker)



  • Knowledge of at least one programming language used for API interactions (e.g., Python, JavaScript)




Qualifications



  • 5+ years experience



  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent
