Job description

Our Company
Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.
We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Staff Designer to help build the future of Firefly Enterprise and GenStudio. The role focuses on video adaptation workflows for social and marketing use cases as well as support a growing plug-in ecosystem across Adobe and third party tools.

This is a senior leadership role based in Noida, involving high ownership and global impact. You’ll work closely with teams in design, engineering, product, and research in India and the United States. Together, you will develop intelligent, scalable creative tools used by enterprise customers worldwide.

This role sits at the intersection of AI-powered creativity, build systems, and platform thinking—where strategy meets hands-on making.

If you’re excited by building tools for creators, developing human-AI workflows, and influencing design direction across teams and geographies, this could be your next chapter!

What you’ll do

As a Senior Staff Designer, you will function as both a design leader and an active creator, shaping complex systems while staying close to craft.

  • Lead end-to-end development for Firefly Enterprise Engine Studio, with emphasis on Video adaptation workflows for social and outcome-focused use cases.

  • Scalable, extensible plug-in solutions across Adobe products and third-party platforms.

  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, and applied research to prototype, test, and refine intelligent tools.

  • Drive a customer-centric build approach, translating enterprise needs into usable, expressive, and scalable solutions.

  • Mentor and guide other junior designers on the team—providing craft feedback, career mentoring, and design leadership support.

  • Collaborate with and influence US-based teams, contributing to shared vision, build strategy, and execution across time zones.

  • Use prototyping as a core thinking tool—exploring ideas through Figma, motion studies, low-fi code, or experimental builds.

  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusion throughout the build process.

What you’ll bring
  • 15+ years of experience in product, systems, or interaction composition, with experience building complex tools or platforms.

  • Strong design craft paired with a systems mindset—you’re comfortable building for scale, extensibility, and automation.

  • Experience designing AI-assisted, generative, or automated workflows, especially for creative professionals in the video space.

  • Technical proficiency and comfort collaborating on APIs, plug-in architectures, or platform ecosystems

  • Hands-on expertise with prototyping tools (Figma, motion tools, or vibe-coding tools).

  • Experience mentoring or guiding other designers and influencing the quality of compositions beyond your immediate scope.

  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with global teams, particularly across India–US time zones.

  • A deep belief in user-centered development, accessibility, and inclusive experiences.

Preferred Accessibility Design Skills

  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.

  • Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance.

  • Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from IAAP are a plus.

You’ll thrive in this role if you…
  • Think strategically but love getting your hands dirty in build details.

  • Enjoy crafting platforms and systems, not just individual screens.

  • See prototyping and experimentation as essential to great building.

  • Are energized by defining what creativity looks like in the age of AI.

  • Care deeply about customers and push teams toward clarity and usability.

  • Enjoy mentoring others and improving the standard for build craft around you.
