This role sits at the core of engineering and platform strategy, driving architecture decisions, improving system reliability, and enabling faster, more efficient deployments.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and security to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
With a strong focus on automation, cloud-native practices, and operational excellence, you will also champion the adoption of AI-driven efficiencies and modern DevOps methodologies.
This is a leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring systems remain resilient, compliant, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure aligned with business needs Drive architectural decisions, making trade-offs across performance, cost, scalability, and reliability Lead DevOps and platform engineering practices, mentoring teams and promoting best practices Define and execute cloud and platform roadmap in collaboration with engineering and product teams Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability Ensure system security and compliance with standards such as PCI-DSS and SOC2 Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes Optimize infrastructure costs, capacity planning, and resource utilization Drive automation initiatives, including AI-led improvements in workflows and operations Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of backend, frontend, data, and security systems What Makes You a Great Fit 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Platform roles Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, RDS, and related tools Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and Linux environments Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python, Go, or Shell Extensive experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and GitOps practices Experience managing large-scale databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API-driven systems Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Experience in performance tuning, scalability, and reliability engineering Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities
