Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Trade Compliance Manager to join our team in Pune, India. 


The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of professional experience in trade compliance, international business, and import/export operations. 


This role requires a post-graduate qualification in International Business or a law degree, along with demonstrated expertise in managing people and leading complex projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all import and export regulations, including customs requirements and international trade laws.
  • Lead the implementation and management of Special Duty Incentive Programs and Free Trade Agreements to optimize operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor special projects related to trade compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of trade compliance professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct internal audits, prepare reports, and liaise with government authorities to resolve compliance issues.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and proactively adapt processes and strategies to ensure full compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, and international business.
  • Post-graduate degree in International Business or a law degree.
  • Proven track record of managing special projects and incentive programs in a global environment.
  • Deep understanding of Free Trade Agreements and related compliance requirements.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with government agencies and external stakeholders.
