We are looking for Sr. System Engineer - TCMS (Brakes and Compressor Functions) You’ll make a difference by As a Sr. System Engineer - TCMS (Brakes and Compressor Functions), you will be responsible for developing control software for our innovative rail vehicles. Your tasks and responsibilities are as follows: • Definition of system requirements and system interface specifications for vehicle control. • You design and implement software components in alignment with the guidelines for safety-relevant software systems. • You have good understanding and experience in sub-functions like Brakes and Compressor systems. • Designing control functions based on functional block diagrams. • Development of RArS, SWrS, interface specifications, and software test specifications. • Conduct code reviews and support design verification activities. • Analyse diagnostic information, perform bug fixing, and define new control logics to improve vehicle performance. • You are capable of building TCMS concepts for trains on vehicle level. • You should be able to implement upgrades/new application software functions with end-to-end responsibility using the V-model approach. • You should conduct technical discussions with subsystem/component suppliers. • You act as a problem solver, ensuring application of correct standards. • You are responsible for working independently on several TCMS subsystems and creating logic block diagrams for them. Desired Skills: • We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, relevant stream with 10+ years of relevant rolling stock experience. • Domain knowledge of train control systems, brake systems, compressor control functions, and TCMS applications. • Experience in working with TRDP, MVB, WTB, and Ethernet communication protocols. • Strong understanding and proven experience with requirement engineering is a prerequisite. • Hands-on experience in development of control documents such as RArS, SWrS, interface specifications, and test specifications. • Good understanding of standards such as IEC 50128, IEC 61131, IEC 61375, EN 50657, etc. • Good communication and presentation skills complete your profile. • You should demonstrate strong teamwork and be able to guide peers to bring out required results.
