Job Description Summary

Responsible for building and administering Azure public cloud platform aligning to Novartis security and compliance, requirements and to develop, qualify and maintain Infrastructure as Code Pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Location: Hyderabad #Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Practical experience with broad range of Azure services: Storage, Database, Cognitive Services, App Services, Azure Key Vault, Cognitive Services, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure VM, VNet, Policies etc.

  
  
  

• Automate Cloud Infrastructure Deployments and Configuration Management using Azure DevOps, YAML, Terraform, ARM Templates.

  
  
  

• Familiar with Cloud Networking and Hybrid cloud Connectivity concepts.

  
  
  

• Develop and maintain an Azure based cloud Products with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.

  
  
  

• Actively support operational teams and other stakeholder teams to maintain business continuation and customer satisfaction.

  
  
  

• Able to configure infrastructure logging/monitoring and alerting using Kusto Queries

  
  
  

• Familiar with Azure Active Directory.

  
  
  

• Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts for infrastructure.

  
  
  

Essential Requirement:

• Familiar with agile (i.e., scrum, Kanban.) methodologies and comfortable with working as part of an agile team.

  
  
  

• Understanding concept of products and the importance of customer needs.

  
  
  

• Able to write the technical/user documentation.

  
  
  

• Able to collaborate efficiently and communicate clearly.

  
  
  

• Problem Solving: Ability to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

  
  
  

• Follow governance structure for projects, operations, etc. with right stakeholder representation. Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders for responsible service area.

  
  
  

• Good understanding of other Cloud services like AWS, GCP, etc

  
  
  

• Good understanding of GenAI services like Azure Foundry, AWS Bedrock, etc

  
  
  

Desirable Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  
  
  

• Minimum 5-8 years working experience in IT infrastructure domain with 7 - 10 years of experience in Scripting and MS Azure

  
  
  

• Scripting using PowerShell and Terraform to automate Infrastructure deployments following IAC method.Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
