Senior Specialist, Oncology Marketing Engagement Analytics, DHH
Our Digital Human Health (DHH) team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs.
Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of engaging, interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data and analytics and measuring the impact.
The Senior Specialist, Oncology Marketing Engagement Analytics, DHH will be responsible for developing and delivering data and analytics, generating strategic insights, and addressing key business questions from the Global Oncology Marketing team to inform current and future pipeline biomarker strategies. The team member will partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including global marketing, regional marketing, clinical, outcomes research, medical affairs, as well as across the depth of the DHH organization.
Reporting to Associate Director, Oncology Marketing Engagement Analytics, within DHH, this role will lead development of analytics capabilities for the innovative oncology new products and companion diagnostic priorities enabling the oncology new asset pipeline.
The successful candidate will ’connect the dots’ across DHH capability functions like market research, forecasting, payer insights & analytics, data science, data strategy & solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Portfolio Analytics: Develop and synthesize cross-portfolio insights to support oncology pipeline and biomarker strategy decisions; contribute to building scalable analytics capabilities aligned to marketing and launch frameworks.
Analytics Delivery: Execute hands-on analytics using Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI; leverage advanced analytics and automation (including GenAI where appropriate) to accelerate insight generation and enhance storytelling; apply patient-flow and simulation-based modeling techniques.
Benchmarking Analytics: Conduct benchmarking analyses to generate actionable insights and translate findings into clear business recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Deliver clear, synthesized insights and translate analytics into actionable recommendations for global marketing and cross-functional teams; collaborate to align on key business questions and decisions.
Team Contribution & Culture: Foster a One Team mindset by collaborating across functions, sharing knowledge, and co-owning outcomes; support team development through coaching and feedback, and take ownership of high-quality deliverables.
Required Experience and Skills:
Master’s degree in a scientific, engineering, data science, or business discipline
5+ years of experience, including 4+ years in oncology-focused roles within pharma/biotech
Strong oncology expertise, including emerging modalities in women’s cancers (e.g., ADCs), with understanding of companion diagnostics
Experience partnering with Global Marketing to support brand strategy, commercialization, and launch execution
Experience applying GenAI and advanced analytics to enhance insight synthesis, workflow efficiency, and decision support
Hands-on experience in analytics (GenAI tools, Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI) working with large, complex datasets
Expertise in oncology real-world data (claims, EHR, epidemiology, sales, literature, forecast, competitive intelligence, market research) with strong command of data source caveats, methodologies and business rules (LoT, Cohorting, treatment flow) for actionable insight generation.
Strategic, consultative problem-solving with strong stakeholder management skills, translating business needs into structured, hypothesis-driven analytics
Ability to collaborate across functions, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment toward actionable business outcomes
