About the Role

Extreme Networks is a leader in cloud-driven networking, delivering secure, automated, and scalable infrastructure solutions to enterprises and service providers. As we expand our portfolio with next-generation secure access and fabric-based architectures, we are seeking a Senior Solution Delivery Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives supporting key initiatives and projects across Extreme’s product lines, including but not limited to Data Center, Network Operating Systems and managing Strategic Customers. This role will be critical in coordinating complex engineering programs, aligning product roadmaps, driving cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of networking solutions across global teams. The Solution Delivery Manager acts as the primary owner of delivery outcomes—bridging strategy and execution to bring customer-impacting solutions to market on time and with measurable quality.

  • Program Leadership: Drive the planning and execution of large-scale programs across the data center and NOS portfolios—spanning software, hardware, cloud, and services.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Align engineering, product management, QA, security, customer success, and go-to-market teams around shared objectives and execution timelines.
  • Strategic Planning: Translate strategic objectives into detailed program plans, with defined milestones, KPIs, risk plans, and governance models.
  • Solution Architecture Fluency: Work closely with technical leads, solutions architects and product managers to understand Extreme’s data center, fabric, and NOS solutions, and identify, track and measure cross-product dependencies and integration checkpoints.
  • Agile Program Management: Lead Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning, and Agile ceremonies for distributed development teams.
  • Executive Communication: Provide clear, concise updates and program dashboards to executive stakeholders and product leadership.
  • Customer Escalation Management: Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic customer escalations, driving rapid resolution by mobilizing internal resources and providing transparent communication throughout the resolution lifecycle.
  • Partner & Vendor Coordination: Work with the alliances team to manage relationships with third-party integration partners, system integrators, and vendors to ensure aligned delivery timelines, clear SLAs, and seamless solution handoffs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, ideally in networking, cloud, or infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead hardware/software/cloud hybrid programs in fast paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.
  • Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, and executive dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or Lean program management methodologies
  • Networking domain knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with enterprise networking technologies including switching, routing, SD-WAN, network security, and cloud-managed networking platforms (direct Extreme Networks experience a strong plus).
  • Customer engagement & relationship management: Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with enterprise or service provider customers, including executive briefings, business reviews, and escalation management.
  • Delivery methodology expertise: Experience applying structured delivery frameworks (e.g., ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) alongside Agile/SAFe practices to ensure disciplined, repeatable solution delivery.
  • Cross-regional delivery management: Demonstrated success coordinating delivery across multiple time zones, geographies, and culturally diverse teams, including management of third-party subcontractors and channel partners.
