The Autodesk Delivery Platform is a modern, scalable system that Autodesk customers use to access their product subscriptions. The platform comprises key cloud services, publishing systems, desktop clients, components, and frameworks to package and deliver all Autodesk products. Our team’s mission is to provide a seamless and reliable experience to our customers so they can get up-and-running with Autodesk products and stay up to date with the latest features and updates. Do you want to be part of a team that is taking this platform to the next level? Do you want to be part of Autodesk’s business model transformation?

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong focus on testing and quality engineering to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to feature development while playing a key role in enhancing test frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring end-to-end product quality through both automated and manual testing. You’ll work across the stack using modern technologies like Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Python, while driving quality initiatives and building robust testing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript

  • Contribute to backend services and APIs using Python

  • Design, build, and enhance test frameworks and automation infrastructure

  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability

  • Perform manual functional testing where necessary, especially for complex workflows and edge cases

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure high-quality user experiences

  • Identify gaps in test coverage and drive improvements in test strategy and tooling

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality validation

  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning with a strong focus on quality

  • Debug, triage, and resolve issues across the stack, including test failures and production defects

  • Mentor and collaborate with team members across geographies on best practices in testing and development

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience, with significant exposure to testing/quality engineering

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern front-end development

  • Experience with Python and backend development

  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest)

  • Experience in manual functional testing and test case design

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or maintaining test frameworks at scale

  • Strong expertise in end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)

  • Experience with frontend testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library)

  • Exposure to software publishing or release workflows (App Store, Google Play, signing, deployment automation)

  • Familiarity with test strategy, test data management, and quality metrics
