Join Our Inventory Placement Team and Shape the Future of Inventory and Inbound Management
At Amazon, we are united by a single mission: to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and make their lives easier. Across teams and geographies, we are working together to innovate, building the future one product, service, and idea at a time.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the India Distribution Network Team and support the development of next-generation inventory and inbound management capabilities — enabling Distribution Centers that power Core, Same-Day Delivery (SSD), and Quick Commerce (QC) networks at scale.
What We're Looking For:
Detail-Oriented Executor: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage day-to-day operational tasks accurately and consistently.
Curious Problem Solver: Eagerness to dive into data, ask the right questions, and identify the root cause of operational issues — even with limited prior experience.
Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitments.
Willingness to Learn: Openness to developing new skills in supply chain operations, data analysis, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Results-Focused: Drive to complete assigned tasks with quality and speed, contributing meaningfully to team goals from day one.
If you are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building the foundational capabilities that will define Amazon's distribution network for years to come, we would love to have you on our team.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Support Network Operations: Assist in executing inventory and inbound management processes for IXDs feeding Core, SSD, and QC networks, ensuring accurate and timely flow of goods across the supply chain.
Analyze and Report: Pull, clean, and analyze operational data to track inbound performance, inventory health, and network efficiency — surfacing insights that support team decision-making.
Identify Process Gaps: Monitor day-to-day workflows to identify inefficiencies, escalate issues proactively, and recommend practical improvements to inbound and inventory processes.
Build and Maintain Dashboards: Support the development of reporting tools and trackers that provide real-time visibility into Distribution Center performance across all network flows.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering stakeholders to support the execution of new network capabilities and ensure smooth coordination across teams.
