Main Purpose:
To conduct geological exploration and modelling, including Geological, Geophysical, Geotechnical, Hydrogeological data generation and subsequent modelling using the exploration data for PFS and FS study.
Job Accountabilities:
- Review the existing exploration data geological information related to project requirement.
- Marking the data gap required for the project evaluation of site.
- Design the further exploration to generate data requirement with Geological Exploration, Geophysical exploration, Geotechnical, Environmental and hydrogeological study.
- Filed Geological logging, digital photography of geological log, referencing, digital database generation
- Drill hole survey, supervision, closure and sealing with concrete
- Sample advice of ply by ply samples and seam overall samples, critical parameters analysis, validation of assay results
- Structural data generation like bedding – core axis angle, deformation signature, cleat/joint mapping, fracture etc.
- Geotechnical/Geomechanical data generation like RQD, RMR, Stress – Strain and Y-Modula’s, rock property identification, Uniaxial and Triaxial Stress Strain and Deformation Analysis, Recommendation for parameters.
- Hydro-geological information capturing, aquifer information capturing, hydro-geological and geomechanical modelling for flow analysis, contour, stability analysis etc.
- Geophysical logging, data generation, validation and reconciliation of borehole data
- 3D Seismic study for fault and any deformation /void or layer present
- QAQC and Geostatistical analysis and modelling using software
- Geological domain modelling using Minex of equivalent software, Fault modelling, domain modelling for interburden/overburden rocks
- Potential assessment of block in terms of resource.
- Identification of key risk area in geological set up and mitigation plan in terms of subsidence
- Environmental baseline data generation and monitoring
- Surface survey, drone survey, surface mapping with infrastructure details, DTM contour generation
- Review Geological evaluation, establishment of co-relation from Logs and previous data
- Review of Geological reports, plans, drawings, Long and Cross sections, graphic lithology, Hanglog
- Cross functional interactions at site office for smooth exploration and operations and coordination with HO.
- Day to day progress reporting and interaction with project team and implementation of any modification.
- Compliance of different regulatory and governance requirement
- Leading the team to achieve team goal to reach organization mission and vision
