To lead and manage all environmental aspects of the High-Speed Rail Track Package, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, environmental clearances, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, while minimizing environmental impacts during construction.
Implement and maintain Environmental Management Plan (EMP), CEMP, and Environmental Clearance (EC) conditions.
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, MoEF&CC, SPCB, and local authority requirements.
Monitor environmental aspects related to track works, earthwork, embankment, viaduct, slab/ballastless track construction.
Manage air quality, noise, water, waste, soil erosion, and biodiversity controls at site.
Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, storage, and disposal.
Coordinate environmental monitoring, inspections, and internal/external audits.
Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports to Client, PMC, and statutory authorities.
Liaise with Client, PMC, contractors, and regulatory agencies on environmental matters.
Conduct environmental training and awareness programs for project staff and contractors.
Promote sustainability initiatives, resource efficiency, and best environmental practices across the project.
