ABOUT THE ROLE


Role Description:


Amgen is seeking a Sr Associate HR Data Analysis for the Eightfold Platform Reporting and transformation which rolls up to HR Systems & Solutions. Amgen uses Eightfold for Talent Management and CRM capabilities.  The successful incumbent will act in a capacity to gather business requirements, design, develop and test, then deliver solutions for HR, Managers, and Leaders. You will work directly with clients to effectively research, troubleshoot, and resolve Eightfold data reporting requests including advanced dashboards and complex reporting. 


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Mixture of practitioner and consulting experience preferred


  • Deep and broad knowledge of Eightfold configuration. Able to conceptualizes impact of changes to system


  • Working knowledge of Eightfold application is required.


  • Solid understanding of the Talent Lifecycle business processes, as well as its interdependencies


  • Adept at translating business needs to product requirements and effective solutioning


  • Strong Analytics acumen and great eye for details, as well as strong problem solving and troubleshoot abilities


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary


  • Basic Qualifications and Experience:


  • 5 years minimum experience in human resources with hands on experience with Eightfold


  • Master’s degree, OR


  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of HR IS experience


Functional Skills:


Must-Have Skills:


  • Strong working knowledge of Eightfold


  • Experience in creating and using Eightfold reports


  • 5+ years’ experience in human resources


Soft Skills:


  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills


  • Strong quantitative, analytical (technical and business), problem solving skills, and attention to detail


  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills


  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams


  • Strong technical acumen, logic, judgement and decision-making


  • Strong initiative and desire to learn and grow


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully


  • Exemplary adherence to ethics, data privacy and compliance policies
