Sr Analyst I Software Engineering - Smart/Life400 Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Act as a key support resource for BAU operations for the SMART400 and LIFE400 applications.

  
  

• Monitor and manage daily batch processing, ensuring timely execution and resolution of any batch failures or processing issues.

  
  

• Investigate and resolve application incidents, defects, and operational issues, coordinating with infrastructure and technical teams where required.

  
  

• Perform impact analysis and troubleshooting for application-related issues, including data discrepancies and process failures.

  
  

• Support production stability and availability of SMART400 and LIFE400 systems.

  
  

• Classify and manage incidents as bug, user error, configuration issue, or enhancement, and coordinate resolution accordingly.

  
  

• Provide L2/L3 level support for application issues, including log analysis, job monitoring, and system diagnostics.

  
  

• Coordinate with business users and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of BAU issues.

  
  

• Assist with minor enhancements, configuration changes, and operational improvements within the SMART400/LIFE400 environment.

  
  

• Maintain documentation related to operational procedures, incident resolutions, and support processes.

  
  

Professional Qualification / Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with SMART400 and LIFE400 systems.

  
  

• Strong experience in BAU support and production environment management.

  
  

• Experience handling batch monitoring, batch failure analysis, and issue resolution.

  
  

• Good understanding of Life Insurance domain processes.

  
  

• Experience in incident management and troubleshooting in production environments.

  
  

• Knowledge of SQL queries and basic system diagnostics.

  
  

• Ability to work with multiple teams including business, infrastructure, and development teams.

  
  

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and support frameworks would be an advantage.
