Job description

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling, and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time Specialist - NeXthink & Modern Workplace in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your digital experience monitoring expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a key role in optimizing the digital workplace experience for our global teams. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including ITSM, Security, SCCM/Intune, and Infrastructure teams, to identify areas of improvement, drive cross-functional remediation strategies, and ensure seamless digital operations.

You’ll specifically take care of leading the architecture, deployment, and administration of the Nexthink platform, but also design and implement advanced dashboards, investigations, and remote actions to improve user experience and endpoint performance.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading the architecture, deployment, and administration of the Nexthink platform across global endpoints

  • Designing and implementing dashboards, investigations, and campaigns to enhance user experience and performance

  • Analyzing user behavior, application performance, and compliance metrics to drive proactive support

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas of improvement

  • Developing real-time alerts, reporting modules, and proactive health checks

  • Automating IT issues and remediation scenarios using Nexthink’s remote action capabilities

  • Contributing to IT governance and compliance efforts

  • Supporting strategic initiatives such as Windows 11 migrations and application performance tuning

  • Driving continuous service improvement by translating Nexthink insights into actionable outcomes

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 10–12 years of experience in end-user computing technologies and Nexthink Tool expertise

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks

  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams

  • Experience in managing complex IT environments and delivering solutions across multiple geographies

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills

  • Fluency in English and a willingness to work autonomously in an international environment

  • Ability to adapt to change, including shifting and competing priorities

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning

  • Progress towards leadership roles or specialized technical expertise

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
