What you'll build:


In your role as Specialist for Non-Netweaver Solutions, you will get familiar with the latest products & solutions like BOBJ, Cloud Connector or Open Text enriching the SAP core solutions. As part of your job, you standardize the provision process and create solution-specific automation of such solutions. Further you constantly work on improving the robustness of the automation and simplifying the operational processes. Following activities will be part of your role:


  • Engage with our Engineering team on the intake of new solutions.
  • Standardize and design processes for provisioning and software lifecycle.
  • Perform test installations of new software.
  • Optimize automation based on operational feedback and actively engage with operations on potential improvement plans.
  • Structure and coordinate the activities in your ownership incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables.
  • Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network.
  • Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery.
  • Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities.
  • Manage technology-related projects in complex environment.

What you bring:


  • 6 to 8 years of work experiene in IT technologies with ideally sound SAP BASIS and SAP HANA admin knowledge.
  • Good Understanding of architecture and their components of BOBJ/BODS, OpenText, Cloud Connector, etc.
  • Candidate should have exposure to Cloud operations (e.g. AZURE, AWS, GCP, etc.) and software lifecycle automation experience.
  • Practical experience in one or more scripting languages would be an added advantage.
  • Preferable database skills for HANA and ASE, other database vendors welcome (MAXDB, IQ, SQL Server)
  • Confident handling and experience in Linux operating system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and experience working in international teams
  • Ideally familiar with trending technologies and tools
