Job Title: Special Educator
Department: Student Support Services / Academics
Location: Oakridge International School Bachupally, Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:
The Special Educator is responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs by providing individualized learning strategies, interventions, and inclusive classroom support to help them achieve their academic potential.


Key Responsibilities:
Identify and support students with learning difficulties and special educational needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student assessments.
Provide individualized or small group support to students requiring additional learning assistance.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement inclusive teaching strategies.
Monitor student progress and maintain documentation related to interventions and assessments.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress and support strategies.
Work closely with counselors, teachers, and school leadership to promote an inclusive learning environment.
Participate in school meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education / Psychology with B.Ed. or relevant certification in Special Education.


Experience:
2–5 years of experience working with students with special educational needs in a school environment.
