About the Role We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer – CTS to join our Global Distribution Centre. In this role, you will take end‑to‑end sourcing responsibility for CTS (Compressor Technique Service) products, supporting the CTS Strategic Purchasing Strategy with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in securing, developing, and managing the supplier base, while ensuring full adherence to Atlas Copco Group’s corporate governance, environmental, and ethical standards in a multinational operating environment. Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on engineering feasibility, cost competitiveness, contractual requirements (NDAs and supplier agreements), and regulatory compliance Drive localization initiatives to reduce cost, improve payment terms, shorten lead times, mitigate supply risk, and reduce regulatory exposure Evaluate techno‑commercial offers, analyze cost structures, and negotiate price revisions and contract renewals in line with sourcing strategies Monitor supplier performance, manage delivery commitments, and proactively escalate supply risks Support supplier compliance with BIS, EPR, and India‑specific regulatory requirements, while managing sourcing activities in line with global regulatory frameworks, regional trade requirements, and local statutory obligations, ensuring alignment with Atlas Copco Group governance standards Collaborate effectively across a cross‑functional and multinational environment, engaging with Product Companies, Distribution Centres, Customer Centres, Group Companies, Engineering, Pricing, Technical Support, and Supply Chain teams Apply strong technical understanding of: Engineering drawings Casting and machining processes Motors and electrical / automation components Supplier process capabilities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including optimization of sourcing processes and logistics flows with suppliers Experience & Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred) 3+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier development roles Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and compliance‑driven mindset Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and cross‑cultural environments, collaborating with global stakeholders Ability to work independently and manage critical supply issues with minimal supervision Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and Outlook We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement.
