The Solution Designer manages the design of services and solutions within their scope, guides IT providers' technical solution teams, performs acceptance testing, and assures quality after the realization of IT solutions. In collaboration with Engagement Managers, IT Infrastructure Architects, IT Business Service Owners, and IT Service Owners, the Solution Designer performs and validates requirement analyses, prepares offer requests for providers, and evaluates their responses.The role also contributes to the preparation of project proposals, the project business case, and the implementation of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and operate Microsoft Teams–based video and voice services
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT solution providers, promoting best practices and consistent quality
  • Evaluate, test, and validate new hardware and software solutions, including acceptance testing and quality assurance
  • Review requirements, prepare provider requests, and collaborate with IT Procurement, Security, and other IT stakeholders
  • Assess provider proposals and support solution selection in alignment with organizational objectives
  • Own end-to-end technical service design and implementation, ensuring alignment with Service Ownership and IT Infrastructure Architecture
  • Contribute technical expertise to project proposals and business cases
    Partner with IT Business Service Owners to understand and address business requirements
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Participate in managing the Floor Captain Service

Qualifications:

Must-Have:


  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent education.
  • General knowledge of the telecommunications field.
  • Deep technical knowledge and process understanding of Microsoft Teams video, voice, and meeting solutions.
  • Good knowledge of the video and phone endpoints market.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and  customer focus.
  • Eagerness and capability to work in a global, multicultural team while focusing on self-development.
