You’ll work across frontend and backend systems, create reusable frameworks, and influence architecture while enabling teams to deliver high‑quality, secure applications faster. **What You’ll Do** + Build full‑stack applications using **React, Next.js, and Node.js** + Develop **scalable microservices and APIs** + Create **reusable frameworks, libraries, and tooling** + Implement **SSR** for performance and SEO + Ensure **performance, security, and scalability** + Drive frontend & backend **architecture standards** + Review code and mentor junior engineers + Collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture teams + Contribute to **CI/CD pipelines** and best practices **What You Bring** + **7+ years** of software development experience + Strong experience with **React, Next.js, Node.js** + Proficiency in **JavaScript / TypeScript** + Experience with **REST APIs, microservices, and SSR** + Solid understanding of **system design and architecture** + Experience with **testing, performance, and debugging** + Strong communication and collaboration skills **Nice to Have** + **Java / Spring Boot** + **AWS** (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, RDS) + **Docker, Kubernetes** + **GraphQL** + eCommerce or storefront experience + Agile development experience **Who we are:** At Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
