About the Role:
As a Software Engineer on the AI/ML Platform team, your primary objective is to build scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that power our global measurement products. You will work within an Agile environment to test, develop, and implement quality software, contributing to Nielsen's strategic shift toward modern ML-driven infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
● Design and develop robust backend services and reusable components using Python and Java. ● Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to integrate sophisticated methodologies into production build pipelines. ● Implement and optimize AI/ML systems to process large-scale audience data across Cloud and on-premises environments. ● Identify and resolve technical incidents to ensure high availability and low latency for AI services.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, ● Strong proficiency in Python and Java programming languages. ● Core software engineering excellence, including knowledge of SQL, data structures, and Agile methodologies. ● Understanding of cloud infrastructure like AWS or Google Cloud or Azure. ● Experience with MLOps or Data Engineering (e.g., Airflow, SageMaker, Spark, or CI/CD pipelines) is highly preferred. ● Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and deliver scalable systems.
