ABOUT THE ROLE


Role Description


This role requires hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development and deployment, including Salesforce Communities and Copado DevOps tools. The candidate will be the go-to technical resource responsible for supporting production and non-production environments, ensuring code quality and platform compliance, and driving continuous improvements in the digital technology ecosystem.



Must-Have Skills


  • Provide day-to-day support for production and non-production Salesforce environments within the Global Supply Chain – Customer Experience domain under guidance from senior team members.
  • Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform (Aura and/or LWC) and understanding of core Salesforce configuration capabilities.
  • Experience with MuleSoft, including supporting upgrades, monitoring APIs and integrations, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting connectivity or data flow issues between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms (e.g., AWS, MuleSoft, third-party services) by monitoring jobs, performing initial issue triage, and escalating complex defects as needed.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining configured solutions, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components within Service Cloud and Commerce Cloud.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept activities and support exploration of emerging capabilities, including AI/ML use cases, under supervision.
  • Resolve routine support tickets and defects, ensuring timely updates and communication with stakeholders.
  • Follow established coding standards and participate in peer reviews to maintain security, performance, and compliance standards, including adherence to VeraCode requirements.
  • Work with cybersecurity and compliance teams to address identified vulnerabilities and support required governance processes.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, stand-ups) and provide updates on assigned tasks.
  • Follow established best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions.
  • Operate in a regulated environment and comply with all required policies, documentation, and audit standards.

Basic Qualifications


  • Master’s degree with 1 - 3 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field  OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field  OR
  • Diploma with 5 - 8 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field

Professional Certifications:


  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required).
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred).
  • Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification (preferred).
  • SAFe Agile Certification (preferred).

Soft Skills:


  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot routine issues.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in team ceremonies.
  • Ability to work constructively with QA, compliance, validation, and security teams.
  • Capable of managing assigned tasks and prioritizing work with guidance from senior team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Open to feedback and continuous learning to enhance technical and professional skills.
