Description:

Airbus is looking for a Senior Software developer to join in Bangalore, India, who would be responsible for the designing, developing and managing multidisciplinary optimization solutions for Digital for Product Architecture.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 6-8 years in IT.

Primary Skills:

• 4+ years of deep hands-on experience in Python and asynchronous programming.

  
  
  

• 3+ years of working experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Openshift).

  
  
  

• Strong expertise in designing & consuming RESTful APIs and handling complex HTTP requests/responses. 

  
  
  

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI (or similar modern frameworks) is highly preferred.

  
  
  

• Experience in Responsive Web Design using HTML5, CSS3, JS, TypeScript.

  
  
  

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Single Page Applications with an understanding of full-stack frameworks like MERN/MEAN.

  
  
  

• Experience in SQL/NoSQL Databases.

  
  
  

• Strong foundations in scalable System Design and software product optimization.

  
  
  

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

  
  
  

• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.

  
  
  

• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  
  
  

• Proven track record of building and maintaining applications at scale.

  
  
  

Good to have Skills:

• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) concepts and tools, specifically Aras Innovator, is highly desirable. 

  
  
  

• Bug tracking, issue tracking using Jira/Version One.

  
  
  

• Familiarity with Linux OS.

  
  
  

• Test driven development.

  
  
  

• DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

  
  
  

• Drive technical discussions and explain options/choices to technical and non-technical audiences. 

  
  
  

• Awareness of working in Agile Scrum / SAFe.

  
  
  

Responsibilities:

Being a software Engineer 

• Assemble and edit source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs.

  
  
  

• Development for fixing defects and new requirements.

  
  
  

• Migration of applications to new tools as required on projects and initiatives.

  
  
  

• Respects the standards and structure of the given solution and the environment. 

  
  
  

• Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints. 

  
  
  

• Participates in all phases of product development lifecycle, from the analysis, design over test and integration to operation of products.

  
  
  

• Researches, evaluates, and develops new tools to improve product development efficiency. 

  
  
  

• Deploys, test and/or integrates highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services.

  
  
  

• May assist in development of product user manuals.

  
  
  

• Coordinates the functional and technical integration.

  
  
  

• Defines the test strategy, scripts, scenarios and monitors test execution.

  
  
  

• Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements.

  
  
  

Coordinate with functional teams, and project managers for end user acceptance & product deployment activities.

Establish suitable stakeholder networks in functional areas & manage them effectively with good communication.
