Join our Trustworthy Shopping Experience Operations Tech (TSE Ops Tech) team in building next generations of global compliance product through the integration of software engineering fundamentals and latest generative AI technologies. You will work with an international team of product managers and stakeholders, tackling complex software architecture design challenges and building highly scalable AI-first to create safer, more intelligent marketplace experiences for both sellers and customers.
Key Focus Areas:
• Developing AI-powered systems for automated product safety assessment and compliance verification
• Building intelligent catalog management solutions using natural language processing and computer vision
• Creating generative AI tools to enhance seller safety and compliance processes
• Designing scalable architectures that combine traditional services with AI/ML capabilities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with distributed systems
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and generative AI technologies (e.g., transformers, LLMs)
• Experience with AI model deployment, optimization, and monitoring in production environments
• Ability to tackle complex problems through data-driven experimentation

Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) org is part of SPS and strives to guarantee customers a trustworthy shopping and ordering experience so they can shop with confidence on Amazon. TSE Ops org caters to the operational needs of TSE. TSE Ops Tech team is part of the TSE Ops. Within TSE Ops it focuses on the needs of the Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) programs. COMS Team owns Medux, Human In The Loop (HITL) system that facilitates Operations teams with automated work allocation, skill management and dynamic work execution interfaces to facilitate manual action catering to multiple compliance requirements.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
