We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for assisting product teams to create secure application, design and implement security architecture.

This position is part of the Product Security organization, located in Bangalore, and will be on-site.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Assist project teams to develop secure application
• Design and implement security architectures for complex software products and systems
• Review and provide feedback on product security design and risks. And mitigation techniques to fix vulnerabilities
• Utilize expertise to identify evolving security threats and provide in-depth understanding of "if, how, and when" they should be addressed
• Work on evaluation of new tools and technologies to secure products.

The required qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in security role focused on application security
• You possess in-depth knowledge of security best practices, cryptography, secure coding and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with C#, C++, or Java software development
• Aware of OWASP asvs application security verification standard, OWASP top 10 and API top 10
• Excellent understanding of application security and common application security vulnerabilities

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Software development experience in the life sciences or medical device domains
• Working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR) 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485:2003, and other worldwide medical device regulations
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience with Privacy controls, PII, PHI and control to implement same
