As a Senior Professional within Siemens Energy Information Technology, you are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of information technology architecture on the ServiceNow platform. You operate across three core areas: ServiceNow Solution Architecture & Design, Platform Development & Operations, and Technical Governance & Mentorship. You ensure a holistic architectural approach—from high-level strategic design to hands-on implementation—while maintaining platform integrity and guiding junior team members. You independently manage complex technical initiatives, define enterprise architecture standards, and ensure the ServiceNow platform delivers scalable, standardized, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives.


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and constraints
  • Understand requirements from multiple stakeholders and advise on design and strategy of the ServiceNow Platform by providing technical and architectural inputs
  • Ensure minimization of platform customization and utilize out-of-the-box features to accomplish user requirements
  • Work closely with the development team (internal / external) to implement requirements within the committed timeframe and desired quality
  • Continuously explore new features provided in the platform with every new release and strive for improvements in the existing setup
  • Coordinate the management of complex issues that may arise as the platform seeks to deliver benefits
  • Define technical solutions aligned with client business problems at an architectural and design level of detail
  • Advise on integration of ServiceNow with other applications and toolsets
  • Collaborate with IT Leadership, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
  • Provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers

What You Bring


  • 10–12 years of experience in a similar role with strong know-how and hands-on experience in ServiceNow architecture, solution design, and scripting
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science
  • Detailed knowledge of ServiceNow Platform Architecture
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and OT Service Management
  • Experience designing and implementing Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
  • Experience with out-of-the-box and custom GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities offered by the platform
  • Experience in ServiceNow platform design including integration and performance considerations, standardization, and best practices for platform management
  • Experience establishing an enterprise-wide technical architecture and implementation strategy for the ServiceNow platform
  • Hands-on experience in platform and feature upgradation
  • Experience providing technical governance to optimize platform performance and minimize long-term technical risk
  • Experience conducting health assessments covering performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security and driving improvement measures within the platform
  • Experience mentoring and consulting development teams with best practices
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow integration capabilities with different tools/platforms including IntegrationHub
  • Fundamental understanding of integration technologies including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS
  • Certifications – CSA, CAD, CIS (different modules)
  • Strong focus on adherence to out-of-the-box features provided by ServiceNow
  • Strong project management skills including understanding assignments, tracking/monitoring progress, and reporting status
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and consultation skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Ability to conduct research into new trends and capabilities offered from ServiceNow
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative global environment
  • Good to have: Expertise with ATF
