As a Service Center Associate Specialist at our Procurement Center of Excellence Hub in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for managing Buyer support activities related to Global Procurement and needs to be perform as per the organization’s policies and guidelines. The role includes providing Center of Excellence support activities to the buyers & businesses across the regions.

  • Manage buyer support activities for Global Procurement in line with IFF policies and guidelines.


  • Provide Center of Excellence support to buyers and business teams across regions.


  • Act as the first point of contact for Buyers, Sites, and Suppliers.


  • Support end-to-end procurement operations using SAP and related procurement systems.


How You Will Contribute


  • Serve as the first point of contact for Buyers, Sites, and Suppliers.


  • Provide transactional system and process support to the strategic buying teams.


  • Create, amend, and maintain purchasing documents in procurement tools and systems.


  • Assist the Vendor Master team with new vendor onboarding and data changes.


  • Ensure all transactions are executed in compliance with IFF internal controls and policies.


  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely supply of goods and services.


  • Perform administration and reporting using internal systems and external data sources.


  • Liaise with regional and global buying teams to provide analytical and portfolio management support, including savings initiatives.


  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization within the Request-to-Pay (RTP) process.


  • Execute Buyer Work Requests (BWRs) using SAP applications and broader procurement knowledge.


  • Create, amend, renew, and manage contracts and agreements across commodities in collaboration with global buyers and suppliers.


  • Create and amend Purchase Orders in accordance with company policies.


  • Manage spot purchases under approved thresholds, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, and price/payment term negotiation.


  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and capability.


  • Support supplier analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making.


  • Identify and support cost-saving opportunities.


  • Expedite material deliveries to ensure suppliers meet committed timelines.


  • Handle and resolve invoice disputes to ensure timely supplier payments and prevent incorrect or excess payments.


  • Participate in projects, SME networks, process updates, and best practice implementations.


What Makes You the Right Fit


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.


  • 3–5 years of experience in Global Procurement supporting international operations and stakeholders.


  • Hands-on sourcing experience and commodity knowledge (preferred).


  • Strong knowledge of SAP, SRM tools, or other ERP systems (Zycus knowledge preferred).


  • Good analytical, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.


  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain processes, and systems.


  • Knowledge of negotiation and contract management.


  • Ability to act as a trusted connector between clients, suppliers, and buyers with high professionalism and tact.


  • Flexibility to work in shift timings to support multiple regions.
