We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Specialist to lead and drive our WiFi/WFA product testing initiatives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our WiFi-related products. With a deep understanding of testing guidelines and standards, you will contribute to the development and implementation of efficient testing strategies. Your expertise in IEEE 802.11 standards and network protocols will be instrumental in delivering reliable and innovative solutions. Additionally, your knowledge of RF Antenna specifications and experience with testing/traffic simulation tools will further enhance our testing capabilities. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists in WiFi/WFA product testing.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for WiFi-related products.
  • Ensure compliance with testing guidelines and standards set by WiFi Alliance System.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WiFi technologies into overall network solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest IEEE 802.11 standards and network protocols, ensuring our products remain cutting-edge.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders regarding WiFi technologies.
  • Document and report test findings, ensuring clear and concise communication of results.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to WiFi performance and connectivity.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in WiFi/WFA technologies.

Qualifications:

You have:


  • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12-15 years of experience in WiFi/WFA product testing is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing guidelines for WiFi Alliance System.
  • Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and related network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Hands-on experience with testing/traffic simulation tools, preferably Spirent.
  • Exposure to test automation and automation development in Python & Shell.

It would be nice if you also had:


  • Familiarity with automation frameworks like Robot, Selenium is preferred.
  • Analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential.
  • Understanding of IPV4/IPV6 addressing and TCP/IP, with basic knowledge of L2/L3 routing.
  • Experience with GPON technologies is an added advantage.
