We, at Indian Service Center of Atlas Copco are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Supply Chain Planning Engineer, who will be responsible for overall assigned supply base (Compressor Technique Service) & contribute in achieving divisional goals such as availability, backorder, inventory & logistic excellence initiatives. If you are someone who knows what drives business results and create lasting value for the customer, we would like to explore more about you. Our ideal candidate will not only manage the everyday duties with supply chain at Logistics but will also be driving process improvements and elevate the current SOPs. Your Role: You act as Senior Supply Chain Planning Engineer for all material planning & procurement related activities for assigned suppliers & commodities. You shall ensure On-time in full parts availability, No back orders & Healthy inventory. You shall ensure close follow up with suppliers to get the parts before due date and drive supplier management. (Supplier payment, GRR discrepancy issues) You shall identify, anticipate potential supply chain risks, supply bottlenecks & initiate actions on high priority. Raise red flags as appropriate. You should be able to analyze & create actions plan for Open Purchase Orders, availability improvement & inventory for assigned suppliers. Periodically verify the correctness of Master data such as lot size, lead time, Source list & Purchase info record You are expected to carry out daily, weekly & monthly activities as per plan which is key to drive KPI’s For improvements, Analysis based sustainable action plan with follow up are must Frequent use of Power BI dashboards for measurement & initiate actions upon analysis is a must. You shall respond to myQUEST tickets within minimum agreed time frame. You shall co-ordinate with EXIM team for required information & documents for quicker custom clearance & related issues. You are expected to initiate Proactive actions on day to day activities to improve the operational efficiency & reduce follow up. You shall lead the assigned division for the entire supply chain activities & to have close co-ordination with customer center. You shall extent support to drive Supply chain functional excellence initiatives You shall co-ordinate effectively with internal stakeholders (Customer centers ,Product company & Purchasers ( Sourcing team )) & external stakeholders- Suppliers, Transporters You shall report the weekly & monthly progress with clear measurable goals You are expected to identify process improvement opportunities & drive related Process improvement project (PIM)
