Job Summary


Job Summary

As a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer for Prisma Cloud, you will apply technical leadership to ensure seamless site reliability operations. You will work with a modern, cloud-native tech stack (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform) in the high-impact cloud security domain, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver highly reliable and scalable systems and developing deep expertise in SRE and DevSecOps practices.



Key Responsibilities

  • Own and operate high-scale, production-grade infrastructure powering Prisma Cloud on AWS (primary) and GCP.
  • Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure systems using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Drive improvements in observability and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch.
  • Ensure high availability and service reliability, participating in production on-call rotations and incident management.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to automation, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of the platform.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer / SRE or similar role, with strong ownership of production systems.
  • Strong expertise in AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / EKS, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), GitLab, and Docker.
  • Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch.
  • Experience with distributed systems and data platforms such as PostgreSQL (RDS), Kafka, Cassandra, and Redis.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Proven experience managing high-scale production environments and handling on-call responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of GCP.
  • Proficiency in Python or Go.
