Job Responsibilities:
Engages in solution-level DevOps and cloud security processes, collaborating closely with peers and engineering teams to ensure effective, secure implementation while fostering knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Streamlines software development cycles and feedback loops through automation and orchestration, enabling rapid, secure release of high-quality software products.
Provides and supports essential DevOps tooling and infrastructure, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, and quality and security analysis tools, ensuring development processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with security best practices.
Executes, evaluates, and interprets security scans and findings using AWS-native services such as AWS GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, AWS Security Hub, and similar, and performs downstream analysis of SIEM-generated findings in partnership with centralized security teams.
Assesses vulnerabilities and CVEs affecting cloud infrastructure, pipelines, and applications, guiding prioritization and remediation while promoting shared ownership of security tasks across teams.
Develops, maintains, and improves automated build and deployment workflows using infrastructure-as-code and scripting, reducing manual effort while strengthening security controls, auditability, and reliability.
Demonstrated ability to translate security recommendations into real‑world DevOps implementations, including designing, automating, and operating secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform services using hands‑on engineering expertise.
Collaborates with engineering teams on code releases and production support, providing guidance during issue resolution and helping balance delivery velocity with security and stability considerations.
Advocates for DevOps and cloud security best practices across the software development lifecycle, driving security awareness, continuous improvement, and consistent adoption of approved patterns.
Implements and leverages telemetry and monitoring solutions to gain operational and security insights, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and security posture.
Partner closely with other security teams across the organization to align on cloud security initiatives, control requirements, and risk remediation strategies; translate security expectations into actionable DevOps implementations.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 4-5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles, with at least 3 years focused on security practices in cloud-native or DevSecOps environments.
Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and/or industry certifications in cloud platforms, security, or DevSecOps practices.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
