The Hitachi Vantara Solutions Architecture and Engineering teamisseeking aSenior Solution Architectwith deepexpertiseincontainer platforms, Red Hat OpenShift, virtualization, and automationto drive modern infrastructure architectures across enterprise environments.

The Role:

In this role, you will define and delivercloud-native, containerized, and hybrid infrastructure solutionsbuilt on Hitachi’s Integrated Platforms—leveragingOpenShift, Kubernetes, virtualization technologies, and advanced automation frameworks like Ansible and MCP.

You will work at the intersection ofplatform engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure modernization, helping customers transition from traditional data centers toautomated, scalable, and resilient cloud-native ecosystems.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

• Build reusable, scalableautomation pipelines for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management

  
  
  

• DriveGitOpsand DevOps practicesacross infrastructure and platform layers

  
  
  

Solution Development & Validation

• Design, implement, andvalidateintegrated solutions onHitachi Unified/Integrated Platforms

  
  
  

• Createtest plans, performance benchmarks, and validation reportsfor containerized and virtualized environments

  
  
  

• Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements forhigh availability, resilience, and scalability

  
  
  

Container & OpenShift Leadership

• Act as asubject matter expert for OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms

  
  
  

• Define best practices forcontainer lifecycle management, security, observability, and multi-cluster operations

  
  
  

• Enable customers to modernize applications usingmicroservices and container-first strategies

  
  
  

Collaboration & Thought Leadership

• Partner with engineering, product, and field teams to influence roadmap and innovation

  
  
  

• Delivertechnical presentations, whitepapers, and executive briefings

  
  
  

• Engage with customers and partners as atrusted advisorto drive transformation initiatives

  
  
  

What You Bring

Core Technical Expertise

• Deep experience withRed Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container ecosystems

  
  
  

• Strong background invirtualization technologies(Red Hat Virtualization, KVM, Hyper-V, VMware)

  
  
  

• Proven experience designinghybrid cloud and modern data center platforms

  
  
  

• Hands-onexpertisewithAnsible automation and Infrastructure as Code frameworks

  
  
  

• Familiarity withMCP (Model Context Protocol) or modern automation/orchestration paradigms

  
  
  

Infrastructure & Platform Knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor equivalent experience

  
  
  

• Extensive hands-on experience inenterprise infrastructure, containers, and automation
