Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Playwright automation, along with good exposure to Selenium and JavaScript. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure high-quality deliverables through effective UI, API, and database testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
• Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks using Selenium
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications
• Execute UI testing to ensure application usability and performance
• Conduct API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects through resolution
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation
• Good experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Strong experience in UI testing and web application testing
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation
• Experience in API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
