Job Characteristics: Contributes strategic vision and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding applications development. Recognized across the organization for applications development expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex application development problems. Leads application personnel to solve complex applications development projects involving multiple disciplines and may impact multiple business units. Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates their work and prepares performance reports. Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods. Responsible for quality assurance review.
Education/Work Experience: Degree and significant work experience in technology or business-related function (8+ years).
Independence Level/Reports to: Recognized both within and outside the organization as thought leader in area of expertise. Responsibilities typically include: Leading teams and providing coaching to associates. Recommending operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results. Influencing business decisions made by leadership. Problems are complex and multi-dimensional. Requires communication with executive leadership on matters of strategic importance.
