Job description

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The resource will be responsible to establish, implement, and evolve automation‑focused QA processes to ensure delivery of high‑quality software products. 


The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to: 


  • Design and develop test automation frameworks and infrastructure using Playwright with Python. 
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Program Managers, Development, DevOps, and Support teams to deliver quality‑focused QA outcomes. 
  • Review business and design requirements and translate them into detailed automation test strategies and test plans. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end UI automation tests using Playwright. 
  • Develop and maintain API automation tests for backend services using Python. 
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) in collaboration with DevOps teams. 
  • Execute and maintain regression automation suites and support in‑sprint automation activities. 
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement. 
  • Analyze test results, report defects with clear reproduction steps, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Support performance and reliability testing efforts as needed and provide quality risk assessments. 
  • Provide test status, automation metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders.

Requirements


  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong focus on test automation 
  •  Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright and Python 
  •  Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders 
  •  Financial services domain experience is a strong plus, with understanding of asset classes and financial instruments
  • Financial industry background is a huge plus, should be able to understand various asset classes and financial instruments.

Technical Requirements


  • Strong experience in Python‑based test automation 
  • Hands‑on expertise with Playwright for web UI automation 
  • Experience with API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman and Python-based libraries 
  • Good understanding of automation framework design, test data management, and reporting 
  • Experience with CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps 
  • Database testing experience using SQL Server or similar relational databases 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC 
  • Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus
