If you are an application engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Senior Proposals Engineer to work with our Emerson Actuation Technologies Proposals Team. This role will work for Global Project business. You will be working with the Sales Organization on meeting customer requirements.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Understand the project technical requirements and Ensure SMART quote is prepared by Quote Engineers for all enquiries.
Follow up with sales to understand the quote strategy and share the product strength against the customer requirement.
Understand the Technicalities of different products in Actuation Technologies portfolio.
Check with Engineering / Factory for suitable solution to meet customer requirements.
Close the technical clarifications as received for the project and be part of technical clarification.
Following the Trade Compliance and Ethics of Emerson.
Do the clean hand over to project management based on different WA standards/procedure.
Prepare final deliverables in accordance with Inhouse standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering with 4-6 Years of experience
Strong Interpersonal skills and able to relate well with all levels of staff.
Good understanding on the required Standards to be followed.
Knowledge of statistical tools and computer software (Microsoft office)
Time Management
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PPT)
Should relate well with outside sales, peers.
Experience with RFQ / Quote Tools and Sizing and Selection Tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
