This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in procurement operations, vendor management, and contract negotiation, combined with a strong understanding of e-procurement systems.
You will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining supplier relationships, and driving efficiency through digital procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order management.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on cost optimization and quality assurance.
Lead vendor selection processes, conduct due diligence, and maintain a robust supplier database.
Negotiate procurement contracts, ensuring favorable terms, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Oversee contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing agreements.
Utilize e-procurement tools to streamline purchasing workflows, improve transparency, and enhance reporting capabilities.
Monitor supplier performance and establish KPIs to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, legal) to understand requirements and ensure seamless procurement support.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings through strategic sourcing and digital transformation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical procurement practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply market dynamics.
Experience in handling procurement contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and compliance.
Familiarity with e-procurement platforms and tools (such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar systems).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement analytics/reporting tools.
Good to Have Skills: Advanced expertise in procurement strategy and category management.
Hands-on experience with e-procurement system implementation or optimization.
Strong understanding of procurement contracts, legal terms, and risk assessment.
Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in procurement.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.
