Summary of Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Network Engineer to operate, support, and continuously improve our Infrastructure Services, including LAN, WAN, Data Center, Voice & Video, and Public Cloud platforms.

This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering and managing enterprise network services with a strong focus on operational excellence, stability, and adherence to industry best practices and standards.

As a senior member of the team, you will act as a technical expert and escalation point, partner closely with engineering and operations teams, and contribute to ongoing enhancements and transformation initiatives across the network landscape.
 

Role Overview:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for infrastructure‑related services, ensuring alignment with internal standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain high service quality, while ensuring security, reliability, and compliance.
• Actively participate in service reviews, continual service improvement initiatives, and change management activities.
• Monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain Data Center, LAN, WAN, Voice & Video, and Public Cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on resiliency, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage NOC infrastructure services, ensuring delivery meets agreed service levels, SLAs, and operational standards.
• Provide advanced configuration and troubleshooting expertise across SD‑WAN, Wireless LAN Controllers, Juniper Mist, VXLAN, Cisco ISE, and Firewalls.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching technologies on Cisco and Juniper platforms.

• Perform proactive network performance monitoring, optimization, and fault resolution to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage IP addressing, subnetting, and network segmentation using BlueCat DDI.
• Strong knowledge of routing & switching protocols like(OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, STP).
• Deploy, configure, and support SD‑WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or equivalent platforms).
• Participate in project and service reviews, ensuring adherence to quality, process, compliance, and security standards.
• Support incident and major incident management, ensuring timely resolution, effective communication, and accurate service documentation.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying risks and recommending improvements.
• Independently drive system upgrades, patches, and migrations to enhance network stability and capabilities.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Identify and recommend improvements in network design, performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying learnings where applicable.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of IT experience in Networks, Cloud, Voice, with over 3 years in an advanced operations role.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or other Cisco/Juniper/AWS advanced industry certification in the areas of Network, Cloud, Collaboration and Voice.
• Strong knowledge of routing & switching protocols like(OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, STP).
• Knowledge of voice traffic and CUCM server will be advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networking devices and SD-WAN solutions.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving incidents and major incidents.
• Experience in implementing changes and fulfilling IT Infrastructure requests.
• Must be able to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with end users and service providers.
• Must be able to solve problems in a structured and methodical way.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, ITIL, Cisco, Juniper, AWS, Azure platforms

Work hours: 6 AM to 3 PM IST and 2 PM to 11 PM IST (On-call/shifts during weekends)
