The Role


As a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.


  • Experience of working as Lead Engineer.
  • Sound Knowledge in Static Equipment and Package Equipment.
  • Extensive Knowledge of International Standards and their applicability.
  • Excellent command over written & spoken English.
  • Co-ordinate and Resolving Discipline engineering issues.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards within the boundaries of the asset basis of design.
  • Facilitate and develop a productive and cohesive team.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • A degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • 15 or more years in design and construction of various industrial plants like chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, food, refineries etc. with a EPC/ Vendor/ Consultant, preferably with the following experience :-
    • Hands on experience of mechanical design of process equipment like shell & tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels, process columns, storage tanks using National and International codes like ASME Sec. VIII, Div. 1, Div. 2, TEMA, API 650, API 620, PD 5500, IS 2825, BS 4994, IBR, etc.
  • Good knowledge of materials specifications used in the design and construction of above process equipment.
  • Should have handled few projects in the design group as Lead Engineer.
  • Should be conversant with use of software like Codecalc, PV Elite or Compress, etc.
  • Extensive Knowledge of International Codes and Standards and their applicability.
  • Excellent command over written & spoken English.
