We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS team, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai/Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


We will count on you to:


  • Supports strategic projects by completing deliverables for new solutions and services.
  • Applies/follows engineering design standards for iterative projects using best practices.
  • Produces design documentation according standard practices for onboarding and operational turnover.
  • Develops task list and milestones for completing deliverables. Tracks status of all tasks deliverables.
  • Performs initial configurations and pre-production testing.
  • Completes remaining configurations needed to complete deliverables for production turnover.
  • Conducts all required testing, document results, and provides production certification.
  • Updates documentation to reflect “as-built” design. Participates in project review and operational turnover meetings with the operations teams.
  • Provides basic end user training where appropriate.
  • Follows the change management process for all infrastructure changes.

What you need to have: 


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Monitors Incidents queues: troubleshoots and completes or assign tickets as required.
  • Performs all standard BAU configuration & deployment activities.
  • Performs all configurations for routine changes required to support the production environment, such as capacity expansion, performance management, provide support for other teams on various voice/ call center systems as well as mobility
  • Responsible for network optimization activities involving and identifying opportunities to reduce outage events, MTTR, and improve overall performance.
  • Provides technical and resource assistance to the Voice Service Delivery, Call Center, Voice Ops, Provisioning and Architecture teams as needed – various roles.
  • Produces performance reports using the available tools as requested.
  • Works with senior network services engineers on review tests and results with objective to identify root cause and remediation actions to restore performance.
  • Assists the operations teams with technical troubleshooting and on-site/hands-on support (where applicable) during major incidents and outages.
  • Obtains quotes and submit orders into the requisitioning system as instructed.
  • Tracks expenditures against budget. Analyze and report on cost-saving opportunities and action opportunities to optimize telephone and mobile expenses.
  • Coordinates vendor access.
  • Participates in PMO-led project calls.
  • Provides status on Telecom project deliverables.
  • Develops remediation plans for issues & risks, escalating to PMO when appropriate.
  • Performs all end-to-end patching according to defined provisioning processes.
  • Analyse voice and mobile data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact service performance and customer experience.
