ABOUT THE ROLE


Role Description:

As a Sr. Manager, Record to Report you will oversee the end-to-end Record to Report solutions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and driving process improvements. You will also be responsible for leading, architecting, designing, and implementing end to end processes and capabilities in this space. This role involves collaboration with various departments, including Finance, Technology, and Operations, to streamline Business processes, technology solutions, and enhance efficiency.


As Sr. Manager within our Technology team, this role will help guide the transition from our worldwide ERP instance on SAP ECC to the S/4HANA Intelligent Enterprise, along with the successful migration of the other RTR integrated systems . Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Provide vision and strategy to advance the Record to Report capabilities
  • Lead and manage large, diverse teams within a matrixed organization and  collaborate geographically
  • Collaborate with business SMEs, System Architects and Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into Functional specifications
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, solution delivery and transition
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Manage the implementation and operational management of Record to Report processes
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Develop business cases and presentations on financial technologies
  • Participate in audits and proactive research for continuous financial improvements
  • Ability to lead and resolve complex issues across a distributed landscape

Functional Skills:


Must-Have Skills:


  • Experience in leading complex architecture, design and configuring all aspects of Record to Report solutions at a global scale part of S/4HANA
  • Hands-on experience in configuring all aspects of S/4HANA Finance /controlling modules: All Accounting facets, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Tax, Cash Management, close, and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); ability to clearly communicate all key accounting concepts
  • Experience in people management and leading matrixed teams, and passion for mentorship, culture and fostering the development of talent

Good-to-Have Skills:


  • Good understanding of cross functional interdependencies from other value streams (i.e. Plan to Stock, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.)
  • Experience working in an agile environment as a product owner and familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proficiency in Blackline and any Financial reporting tools
  • Strong track record of mentoring junior technology talent

Soft Skills:


  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 - 17 years of relevant SAP experience 

Work Hours:


This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, as required based on business requirements.
