Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

* Conduct employee awareness programs on the data privacy policies. Assist in developing training programs, responsible for developing relevant training programs
* Assess Risks Within a Defined Functional Area/Country and Develop Countermeasures and Contingency Plans. Review assessment of current and potential risks within a defined functional area, and develop risk countermeasures and contingency plans. Report current status of risks to the Management.
* Design a data breach management plan and review recommendations for preventive action. Lead the data breach handling process for effective addressal of privacy related gaps if any , in the current process & systems.



Additional Responsibilities

* Partner with internal teams to ensure that the policy impacted processes, practices and systems are compliant with the applicable data privacy regulations and DP recommendations are implemented prior to deployment . Also undertake and manage change initiatives to drive improvements.
* Assess changes in existing internal processes & systems and recommend privacy related controls based on applicable data privacy regulations for high complexity engagements and projects involving global locations and functions.
* Conduct privacy and Data protection assessments, review assessment reports and observations



Technical Requirements

* Publish thought papers, create privacy as a differentiator for Infosys, and conduct Industry benchmarking studies.
* Review of MSA, Responding to RFPs/RFIs
* Data Privacy related Innovation - Apply design-thinking approach to develop new Data Protection services or tools to address the internal stakeholders' challenges in complying with the organization's data protection policies and processes.
* Set clear and objective goals for the team, monitor and review progress , participate in performance reviews , participate in competency building initiatives and enable cross functional training in order to retain and motivate staff and build an effective and focused team.
