Role Overview
The Senior Systems Analyst is a role in our scaled agile framework POD and Squad model. As part of a POD team the Senior System Analyst will support one or more cross-functional squads comprised of a Squad Lead, Developers, a System Analyst, and Quality Assurance Engineers committed to ensuring the successful design and delivery of complex application solutions centered on the strategic roadmap for one or more key technology capabilities within MMC. The Senior System Analyst will be primarily responsible for directing the cross-functional elicitation and elaboration of requirements across squads in an Agile Team setting.
As part of your daily activities, you will collaborate with the Product Owner and teams to manage tactical aspects of iteration planning such as the squads’ backlog, backlog grooming, user story refinement, user story estimation, facilitating Sprint Reviews, and participating in Agile Ceremonies. As a trusted part of a team, you will coordinate activities with up to four System Analysts across squads to ensure just-in-time development of the story.
You will also assist the Product Owner in the development of personas, customer journey maps, story maps and release planning to foster insights and understanding of vision for the team.
