Job description

Manages basic-to-moderately complex quantitative analysis projects with input from senior project team members in order to calculate risk exposure and potential loss that may occur due to natural and man-made catastrophes.




Performs basic-to-moderately complex analyses using existing catastrophe risk models and evaluates the resulting data sets in order to calculate the client’s risk exposure.




Gathers, organizes and reviews raw exposure data from the client for accuracy and validity, and to identify abnormalities (such as negative premiums, abnormal construction types, or deductible overages).




Prepares summaries, presentations and reports for basic or moderately complex client projects, with guidance from senior project team members, in order to summarize potential risks and loss results for the client.




Communicates with clients on basic/routine projects with oversight from senior project team members to address client concerns and questions during the project.




Researches and summarizes industry publications and scientific papers of specific or regional perils in order to provide additional sources of information used for analyses and client reports and to build personal knowledge of perils.
