Sar7 India is looking for an
experienced Senior Localization Project Manager to support onsite localization
operations and ensure successful delivery across multiple language work streams.
This role will work closely with the Operations Manager to support day-to-day
production oversight,
stakeholder coordination, and operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with linguistic teams,
supporting Project Managers, handling operational escalations, and helping
drive delivery consistency across multiple work streams.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role include: Production & Delivery
Management
- Support
day-to-day localization operations across multiple language workstreams.
- Help
ensure project milestones, delivery timelines, and operational priorities are
met consistently.
- Assist
with workload planning, prioritization, and execution across teams.
- Monitor
delivery risks, flag issues in a timely manner, and help drive resolution.
- Work
closely with the Operations Manager on production monitoring and delivery
follow-up.
Project Manager Guidance
& Team Coordination
- Provide
day-to-day operational guidance to Project Managers.
- Assist
with prioritization, execution planning, and issue follow-up across ongoing
workstreams.
- Support
onboarding and mentoring of Project Managers where required.
- Help
ensure consistent execution of team processes, workflows, and follow-up
practices.
- Encourage
accountability and strong coordination across the Project Manager team.
Linguist
Collaboration & Quality Follow-up
- Work
closely with linguists to support production and quality goals.
- Participate
in discussions related to linguistic quality, terminology, and consistency.
- Monitor
quality trends and help drive follow-up actions where needed.
- Support
coordination between Project Managers and linguists to improve delivery
consistency.
- Contribute
to quality improvement efforts through regular operational follow-ups.
Stakeholder
Coordination & Escalation Management
- Coordinate with internal
teams and stakeholders on day-to-day operational matters.
- Communicate key risks,
issues, and delivery updates clearly and in a timely manner.
- Assist with
cross-functional coordination to support smooth execution of project
requirements.
- Support stakeholder
follow-ups, action tracking, and closure of open items.
- Identify operational issues
and escalate appropriately when required.
Reporting,
Trackers & Process Support
- Track delivery status,
workload movement, and operational updates across active workstreams.
- Create, maintain, and
regularly update trackers to support production, quality, and follow-up
activities.
- Support preparation of
reports, summaries, and ongoing status updates for stakeholders.
- Monitor operational and
quality-related data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain relevant
documentation related to workflows, trackers, and operational action items.
- Contribute to process
improvement initiatives and operational best practices.
RequirementsSkills, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Localization, IT, Process Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+
years of experience in localization/project management
- Experience managing
multi-language localization workflows
- Experience guiding or
supporting Project Managers in an operational environment
- Experience working closely
with linguistic teams on quality-related matters
- Strong stakeholder
management and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and
organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and
decision-making ability in fast-paced environments
- Strong data tracking and
reporting skills, with the ability to create and manage operational trackers
effectively
- Comfortable working with
data to monitor trends, support decision-making, and drive follow-up actions
- Prior onsite experience
preferred
- Experience with
localization tools and workflows preferred
- Preferred: Strong Hindi
language knowledge, with the ability to engage confidently with linguists on
quality, terminology, and consistency-related matters
- Preferred: Familiarity with
AI/LLM tools for productivity (prompting, summarization, drafting stakeholder
updates) and an understanding of limitations, data privacy, and
human-in-the-loop review
- Preferred: Experience
applying AI/automation to localization operations (reporting, QA triage,
workflow optimization) with strong governance and confidentiality practices
