  • Maintain operational stability of release systems with rapid incident response, post‑mortem learning, and continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands on software engineering experience including system design, development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience with public cloud platforms and three or more years operating Kubernetes in production
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash Shell scripting, with experience designing APIs and building automation and developer tooling
  • Advanced Kubernetes expertise including architecture, networking, storage, security, and custom resources
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for multi‑cloud provisioning; experience with YAML, JSON, and HCL
  • Experience with GitOps and delivery toolchains such as Argo CD or Flux, and CI/CD tooling including Helm or Kustomize
  • Observability experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or cloud‑native services, and a security‑first approach including secrets management and compliance automation

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Experience managing workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including multi‑cloud networking and identity federation
  • Knowledge of advanced deployment strategies using Argo Rollouts or Flagger; familiarity with feature flags, A/B testing, chaos engineering, operator patterns, and event‑driven automation
  • Experience with workflow orchestration such as Argo Workflows or Temporal and behavior‑driven development frameworks
  • Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, and cloud or Terraform certifications), experience in regulated industries such as financial services, and contributions to open source and technical speaking or writing
