We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Software Engineer to join our IT Platform Engineering team in India. This role is a key driver of high-impact technical projects, shaping the future of our IT organization. You'll be at the forefront of modernizing IT services, both on-prem and in the Cloud, with a focus on cloud transformation, automation, AI integration, and robust platform management.



HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE



  • Cloud Transformation: Lead the design, planning, and execution of our cloud transformation strategy and migrating of critical Applications from on-prem to public cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google).
  • Service Modernization: Architect and modernize legacy IT services by implementing highly scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions aligned with the service roadmap.
  • Automation & DevOps: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps to eliminate manual efforts.
  • AI Integration: Drive innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies like AI/ML to enable new functionalities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions to ensure platform health, performance, and security compliance.
  • Issue Diagnosis & Resolution: Proactively diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for CI/CD, observability and platform security.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING



  • 8+ years of professional experience in an IT infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering role.
  • Deep expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a track record of leading large-scale cloud transformation projects.
  • Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language like Python, Bash etc.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring and logging best practices, with experience in at least one of the tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Proficient in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to facilitate project planning and team collaboration.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field from a reputed university.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.


Preferred skills (Good to have):



  • Experience with integrating AI/ML solutions into IT infrastructure.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Expertise in secret management, with a strong preference for HashiCorp Vault.
  • Experience with ITSM integrations for automation workflows, preferably ServiceNow.
