As a member of an international team working on Extended Reality solutions, your responsibility is to


support traditional developments as well as citizen developers, by systematically addressing design


and UX matters in immersive virtual environments. Your daily tasks include creating and documenting


concepts and prototypes, supporting citizen developers and 3D experts building and deploying XR


applications, and supporting other communication needs of the team


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Achieve customer goals and realize value of XR applications by bringing your UX and design skills to develop and implement design concepts, storyboards, prototypes, and evaluating results
  • Building quick technical understanding of our portfolio and how to create interactive prototypes in each solution
  • Create value and validate ideas early by iterating with stakeholders and devising and documenting visual concepts, as drawings (hand or computer based), 3D prototypes, and written specifications
  • Expedite use case deployment by supporting citizen developers with design recommendations, storyboards, specifications, quick media adjustments and basic 3D content, as well as your knowledge in no-code prototyping solutions such as ShapesXR, SynergyXR or similar.
  • Supporting developers, 3D experts and managers in traditional applications, by defining look and feel, addressing UX aspects and designing 3DUIs Close the circle by measuring KPIs, usability, and general satisfaction, from high level stakeholders as well as end users Document and standardize look and feel across different platforms, maintaining design systems, and guidelines
  • Support our communication needs by handling both 2D and 3D design work
  • Leverage your experience to lead your responsibilities with autonomy and eventually guide a small team in medium to high complexity scenarios

What You Bring


  • University degree in game design, UX or other related design fields, alternatively in computer science and engineering, with artistic and 3D experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the XR / game industry, or as 3D designer / artist, in a diversity or roles, not only in the frontlines, but also managing projects.
  • An impressive portfolio of projects (documented), showcasing your skills in conceptual work and 3D-based prototypes, your keen eye for contemporary aesthetics, and presenting typical XR use cases such as training, design reviews, product visualization and showcases, digital twins, and metaverses.
  • Familiarity with usual XR hardware (AR/VR headsets, controllers and accessories): how to use them, how to leverage their capabilities and address their limitations, give training and advice to users
  • Ability to design UIs, intuitive navigations and object interaction in 3D space (Spatial Interaction Design), and to apply UX principles in immersive environments.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative user feedback.
  • Good knowledge of computer graphics and technologies.
  • Highly skilled developing concepts using 2D applications such as Illustrator, Inkscape, Photoshop, GIMP, and also usual UX tools such as Figma and similar.
  • Skilled in traditional 3D applications such as Blender and Maya (modelling, texturing, and animations), as well as 3D prototyping applications such as Shapes XR, Gravity Sketch, SynergyXR.
  • You are also no stranger to Unity and Unreal game engines, with good understanding of 3D asset creation, texturing, animations, and setting up interactable objects. You also know how to create, test and troubleshooting builds for multiple platforms.
  • Familiar with new AI tools to support conceptual work (image generation and refining), as well as creating preliminary 3D assets
  • Basic programming/scripting familiarity is a plus
