Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Engineer - Static Equipment with 8+ years of experience with all types of Static Equipment in oil and gas, petrochemical industry.


This role will be based out of our Chennai office.  


The Role  


The Senior Engineer will apply extensive and comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices to the organization’s products and services. 


This opportunity is ideal for an individual who has previous experience within Static Equipment and wants to be part of a dynamic project team working as part of an international service line.

Responsibilities:

The key objectives for this role are:  


  • Perform FEED and detailed design and engineering for O&G, Petro Chemical, Chemical and O&U projects
  • Proficient at producing designs, Mechanical data sheet, requisitions, TBEs and document reviews for a wide range of static equipment.
  • Review vendor documents
  • Coordinate with external / Internal clients
  • Coordinate with vendors and interface with other Engineering discipline
  • Good knowledge of design software like PV Elite, COMPRESS, AMETANK etc.

Expected:


  • B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical) from reputed institution
  • Industry Type - Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Oil & Gas (preferred)
  • Experience in working with engineering consultancies and EPC companies for design & engineering of various types of Static Equipment
  • Knowledge on relevant design codes like ASME, API and Client specifications
  • Field / Shop experience on the Equipment related to O&G projects will be added advantage.
