The Senior Engineer – Execution – Site (MEP) is responsible for executing mechanical works at the site, including piping, equipment erection, HVAC, fire-fighting, and utility systems. The role ensures timely execution, quality control, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with other departments and contractors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Execute site-level mechanical works including erection of equipment, pipelines, ducting, fire-fighting systems, etc. Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure work progress as per schedule and standards.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and layout plans. Conduct stage-wise inspections, testing, and installation verification as per QA/QC guidelines.
Ensure availability of required resources (materials, tools, manpower, equipment) for uninterrupted execution. Maintain site documentation such as daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material tracking.
Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery and with design teams for technical clarifications. Monitor contractor performance and raise flags on deviations or non-conformities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in safety audits and tool-box talks. Support commissioning activities and assist in resolving punch points during handover
